Based on testing performed by Opera Software, this device supports Opera Mini 4.
Note: If your handheld is running BlackBerry System Software previous to 4.0, you must install the Basic version of Opera Mini through over the air installation.
Known issues with Opera Mini
This device requires firmware version v4.1.0.511 and higher to work with Opera Mini.
Install via mobile download
- Point your phone's WAP browser to http://mini.opera.com/ and click on Download Opera Mini.
- Answer 'Yes' to all installation messages and enjoy browsing the full Web, right on your mobile phone!

Note to North-American users
Opera Mini is available to all Sprint and Cingular customers. Availability for T-Mobile customers is dependent on the subscription plan. BREW-enabled phones, including Verizon, are currently not supported.
A specific setting is required to enable Opera Mini to access the Internet on a T-Mobile Blackberry:
From your Blackberry homescreen, go to Options, then Advanced Options, then TCP. Under APN, enter "wap.voicestream.com". Leave Username and Password blank.
A specific setting is required to enable Opera Mini to access the Internet on a Cingular Blackberry:
From your Blackberry homescreen, go to Options, then Advanced Options, then TCP. Under APN, enter "wap.cingular". Also enter Username for APN: "WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM" (all uppercase) and Password for APN: "CINGULAR1" (all uppercase).
